Eight, the technology company changing the future of sleep, today launched new additions to its product line, bolstering the company’s innovative sleep system offerings. Leveraging customer feedback and over 10 million hours of sleep data from 15,000+ users, Eight has added four new mattresses to create the perfect sleep space, including the Saturn+ and Mars+ – the most technologically advanced mattresses on the market with superior pricing and quality.
Eight, a tech-enabled sleep tracking company that sells ‘smart’ mattresses, has raised a $5 million Series A round to grow in a competitive category that shows no signs of slowing. The startup, cofounded by Forbes Under 30 2017 list member Alexandra Zatarain, launched in 2014 with a crowdfunded sleep tracker that could be slipped over a mattress. Its technology tracks your sleep, allowing you to monitor the data on your phone and interacting with other ‘smart’ home products to warm your bed or start brewing your morning coffee.
Eight’s accompanying app will provide you with a blueprint of how solid your sleep has been, allowing you to make adjustments where necessary. Or Eight can make the adjustments on its own. By reading the room’s temperature, and analyzing your preferred sleeping temperature, Eight can adjust the bed to the optimal warmth, and split the bed into separate temperatures so as not to disturb your partner.

Now the company is sharing more news. It’s part of the current class of startups at incubator Y Combinator, and it has also raised $1.3 million in funding…
